The AIR MILES Onyx™ program was designed to reward Collectors who get 6,000 or more Miles each year. So as a thank you for being some of our best Collectors, we created Onyx exclusive benefits including:

How do I become an Onyx™ Collector?
You can become an Onyx™ Collector by getting 6,000 or more Miles within one calendar year (January to December). Your Onyx benefits will begin the following week until the end of March of the following year.
For new Onyx Collectors - You'll receive your Onyx Cards in the mail 3-4 weeks after you have qualified; you can begin to enjoy Onyx benefits the following week.
For Early Qualification - If you qualified for Onyx before the calendar year ends, your Onyx benefits will begin the following week.
For existing Onyx Collectors -If you don't re-qualify, continue to use your Onyx Collector card until you receive the new Blue cards in the mail. If you do re-qualify at the end of the year, we'll mail you a new Onyx Card with a new expiry date.
New and existing Onyx Collectors can also order extra cards for family or friends, up to 2 at a time, through our online tool here! While these cards will be blue in color, they will still link to the same account and help you multiply your earning power.
Why does my card have an expiry date on it?
Your exclusive Onyx card has a lot of power in it! Not only can you get Miles at Partners with your Collector card, but it's also your ticket to exclusive events throughout the year. This is why you have an expiry date on your card, as it will only grant you access to these events during the cards benefit year.
At the end of the benefit year, your card will still work to get miles at Partners, but you will need a new Onyx card to take advantage of exciting show-the-card benefits and event access. To order additional cards visit our online tool here! Enjoy the Onyx life!
What is the Personal Shopper Service and how does it work?
The Personal Shopper Service is a team committed to finding merchandise not available in the Dream Rewards catalogue. This service gives Onyx Collectors the benefit of using their Dream Miles on a wide range of products not seen on airmiles.ca. Whether it's the latest tablet for your daughter's birthday or that designer watch you've had your eye on.
Onyx Collectors can begin using the service by contact the Customer Care Service Centre at 1-844-399-ONYX or Chat with us live on airmiles.ca.
Once you've placed the inquiry, a Personal Shopper team member will look into your request and follow-up with a quote for the amount of Dream Miles needed within 5 - 10 business days. What happens if I don't have enough Miles for my requested Reward?
The amount of Miles depends on the Requested reward, but can only be used out of your AIR MILES Dream Account. As an Onyx Collector, if you do not have enough Miles, you can purchase up to 10,000 Miles toward your requested item, in 100 Mile increments. There is no Cash + Miles® option for this Service.
Once you confirm the item you want and you are ready to order, the Miles will be taken out of your Dream Account. You will then receive an email confirmation. At this point It is a final booking once you've made an order. Refunds, returns, exchanges or cancellations are not allowed. When using the Personal Shopper Service, do you need to know exactly what you want to get with your Miles?
The ONYX Personal Shopper Team can help you whether you know exactly what you want to order or not. Providing details about your desired Reward is helpful! However, the Team will work with you to help clarify the details - name, model number, brand, color, size, etc.
The Personal Shopper Service Team will do their best to find the perfect reward for you! There will be times when we can't find exactly what you want, but we will provide alternatives whenever possible!
When does the Personal Shopper Service withdraw Miles from my Dream Account?
Once we've received your approval to proceed with the quote, our Personal Shopper Service will place an order for the requested merchandise and the Miles will be withdrawn from your Dream Account.

What is your delivery time for merchandise?
Delivery will vary based on the nature of the request. We will advise you of the delivery timelines for your Requested Reward along with your quote. In most cases, Rewards and event tickets will be received within 4 weeks.
