1. Welcome Statement and Purpose
   Welcome to the AIR MILES Canada Fan Page on Facebook (the “Fan Page”). The Fan Page is owned and operated by LoyaltyOne, Co, Suite 200, 351 King Street East, Toronto, Ontario M5A 0L6 Canada (“LoyaltyOne” or “AIR MILES”).
   
   The Fan Page brings together people who collect AIR MILES reward miles in Canada and allows them to share common experiences and learn how to get the most out of the AIR MILES Reward Program.
   
   Where appropriate, AIR MILES will answer questions and assist users, but may not have time to fully research answers before posting. Accordingly, the Fan Page is not a substitute for contacting AIR MILES Customer Care. Contact Us.
   
   
2. Getting Started
   To become a Fan of the Fan Page, simply click the ‘Like’ button located above Fan Page tabs. You are not required to be a Collector of the AIR MILES Reward Program to be a fan of the Fan Page.
   
   By using and posting data, information, comments or pictures (“Content”) onto any part of the Fan Page, you grant AIR MILES an irrevocable, royalty-free, world-wide licence to use your Content in any other medium without compensation.
   
   By accessing and using the Fan Page, you agree to be bound by this Facebook Posting and Communication Policy and the AIR MILES Privacy Pledge, all of which may be modified by us at any time (collectively the "Rules"). You should periodically check the Fan Page (including the Fan Page Info tab and the “Privacy Policy” link at the bottom of the Fan Page Welcome tab) for the most up-to-date version of the Rules.
   
   Your use of the Fan Page (including the posting of all Content) is subject to the terms of the Facebook Statement of Rights and Responsibilities and other applicable Facebook policies.
   
   Moderators are AIR MILES employees assigned to be responsible for administering the Fan Page. The Moderators may provide assistance or answer questions posted by Fans when appropriate. An AIR MILES employee who is not assigned as a Moderator, or a person who is not an AIR MILES employee, is not authorized by AIR MILES to act as a Moderator.
   
   
3. Posting and Commenting
   Fans can post Content on the Fan Page. Fans should be aware that Content postings are not pre-screened. As a result, some Content posted by Fans may be offensive, objectionable, inappropriate or inaccurate.
   Fans may report offensive, objectionable, inappropriate or inaccurate Content by using the ‘Flag’ button on Facebook. Moderators will review any Content flagged by Fans and determine whether it should be removed. AIR MILES reserves the right to remove any Content that violates the Rules and is not required to give notice or a reason for the removal of any Content.
   
   AIR MILES may use or disclose any information on the Fan Page, including Content posted by Fans, as necessary to satisfy any law, regulation or other governmental request, to operate the Fan Page properly, or to protect itself or its users in accordance with the AIR MILES Privacy Pledge (please visit https://www.airmiles.ca/arrow/PrivacySummaryAfterLogin for an up-to-date version of the Privacy Pledge).
   
   Comments or opinions expressed on the Fan Page are those of the respective contributors only, and do not reflect or represent an endorsement of such Content by AIR MILES.
   
   The following activities are not acceptable on the Fan Page, and all Content relating to such activities will be removed by Moderators, whether discovered as a result of being flagged by a Fan or as a result of AIR MILES’s monitoring of Fan Page activities:
   
   
   • uploading, posting, transmitting, sharing or otherwise making available any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, solicitations, promotional materials, "junk mail, " "spam," "chain letters," "pyramid schemes," or any other form of solicitation;
     
     
   • making personal attacks or threats on other Fans, or any other person;
     
     
   • posting, sending or linking to content that is harmful, threatening, unlawful, defamatory, infringing, abusive, inflammatory, harassing, vulgar, obscene, offensive fraudulent, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable;
     
     
   • uploading, posting, transmitting, sharing, storing or otherwise making available content that would constitute, encourage or provide instructions for a criminal offense, violate the rights of any party, or that would otherwise create liability or violate any law;
     
     
   • harvesting or collecting email addresses or other contact information of other Fans by electronic or other means for the purposes of sending unsolicited emails or other unsolicited communications;
     
     
   • uploading, posting, transmitting, sharing, storing or otherwise making publicly available on the Fan Page any private information of any third party, including, without limitation, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, Social Insurance Numbers and credit card numbers;
     
     
   • uploading, posting, transmitting, sharing or otherwise making available any material that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment;
     
     
   • uploading, posting, publishing, transmitting, reproducing, linking to or otherwise distributing in any way, information, software or other material obtained through the Fan Page, which is protected by copyright or any other intellectual property right, without obtaining permission of the copyright owner or rights-holder;
     
     
   • impersonating or falsely representing your association with any person, or deliberately misquoting another person; and
     
     
   • using, reproducing, selling, reselling or otherwise exploiting the Fan Page for any commercial purposes.
     
     
4. Links to External Websites and Content
   Fans can post hyperlinks to external websites within their posts on the Fan Page. However, Fans should be aware that such linked sites are not reviewed or endorsed by AIR MILES, and AIR MILES does not control such linked sites or their content. AIR MILES will not be responsible for Fans’ use of, or reliance on, any such content of linked sites. Fans should use their own judgment before posting a link to an external site. Links within a post are subject to the Rules in the same manner as other Content on the Fan Page.
   
   
5. Professional Information Content
   The Fan Page may make available certain information provided by third parties related to various professional fields such as, without limitation, medicine, law, accounting and financial investments (the "Professional Information"). The Professional Information is provided for educational and entertainment purposes only and should not be interpreted as being professional advice. AIR MILES will not be responsible for any loss or damage resulting from Fans’ use of, or reliance on, any such Professional Information.
   
   
6. Privacy
   The Fan Page is a public forum. Fans should be aware not to reveal any information within the Fan Page that they do not want made public. Posts that include personal information about the individual writing it or other persons may be removed by Moderators. The Fan Page is governed by the AIR MILES Privacy Pledge. 7. Intellectual Property
   AIR MILES grants all users of the Fan Page a limited revocable licence to download, reproduce and otherwise use the Fan Page for personal, non-commercial purposes. Other than this limited licence, nothing in the Rules or within the Fan Page confers any other licence for any of the intellectual property rights in the Fan Page.
   

Copyright in the Fan Page is owned by AIR MILES and its licensors. All rights reserved. Any copying, republication or redistribution of the Fan Page or any Content by any means is expressly prohibited without the prior written consent of the copyright owner.
