I booked multiple travel products with AIR MILES. Can I insure them all under one policy?
You can select and purchase an insurance policy that suits your needs once you have finished all of your bookings. During this process you can insure the full value of your trip. Conditions, limitations and exclusions apply. More details will be provided on your emailed travel itinerary.
I booked a one way flight using Miles but I am staying in the destination for a longer time period. Can I book insurance for my entire trip?
You can select and purchase an insurance policy that suits your needs after you have finished your booking. During this process you will indicate your extended return date. Conditions, limitations and exclusions apply. More details will be provided on your emailed travel itinerary.
Can I purchase AIR MILES Travel Insurance for any travel plans I have made with another Travel agent or on a website?
Only travel (flight, car, hotel, package vacation & cruise) booked on airmiles.ca or with an AIR MILES Customer Care specialist is eligible for coverage with AIR MILES Travel Insurance.
What is family coverage?
Family Coverage is available to you if all family members to be insured under one policy are named in your confirmation, are under age 60, and you have purchased and paid for family coverage. The family coverage covers you, a member of your family (spouse, parent or adult son or daughter travelling with you) and your child(ren) or grandchild(ren). To be eligible for insurance under a plan that includes Emergency Medical coverage, the child(ren) or grandchild(ren) must be at least 31 days of age. Note: A maximum of 2 adults is permitted under family coverage. Conditions, limitations and exclusions apply.
I’m travelling with an infant. Do I need to purchase a separate policy for the infant?
If you have an infant who is at least 31 days old and under the age of 2 years who is an immediate family member, travelling with you and listed on the confirmation for this insurance, the infant will be covered at no charge under your policy if you have purchased the Worldwide Comprehensive Plan or the Canada Comprehensive Plan.
